Thermal Fluid Heaters (Hot Oil Heaters) provide heat transfer applications with a liquid phase media (Hot Oil) at higher temperatures while at lower pressure.
The heaters can be supplied with a variety of forced draft burners, provided by some of the world’s leading burner manufacturers. Thus allowing us to fire on a variety of fuels and/or meet stringent emissions requirements.
The TH Thermal Fluid Heaters are our standard Dual Helical Coil design. The Dual Helical Coil design Thermal Fluid Heater has a very economical / compact heat transfer coil. It is a bare tube design, engineered for stress free operation, high efficiency and long life. The inner and outer coil bundles on the heaters are piped in series, yielding a balanced flow path through the coils.
The heater coils are commonly supplied to meet local code requirements around the world. ASME w/ NB for the USA, ASME w/ NB & CRN for Canada, CE/PED/TUV/DIN for Europe, or as needed for elsewhere.
The TH's are available in either Horizontal or Vertical configurations, as required to meet the physical limitations of your facility. Our Horizontal arrangement is the most common, allowing easy access to the burner and also to the heater coil as both ends are removable. The heater design minimizes the use of refractory.
Our heaters operate very efficiently without the requirement for a Combustion Air Preheater, although one can be added in the event maximum efficiency is desired.
